How to use cruise control on a Volkswagen Jetta?

So I bought a Volkswagen Jetta 2000, and no user manual came with it. I noticed that VW cruise control looks different (they're not on the steering wheel like many cars I have driven, but on a handle to the left side). If anyone know how to use it, let me know, a bit more detail will be appreciated (ie: how to set cruise on, resume, coast, accelerate)|||First off, ignore darren's stupid comment. On the left hand side stalk, slide the lever to on all the way to the far end of the stalk, to shut it off, slide it all the way in. Next, accelerate to the speed you want to cruise at. On the end of the stalk there is a button, press that button in and let off the gas. Cruise is set, and if I recall on the 2000's a light goes on indicating cruise, i.e. coast. Now, to accelerate with the cruise on you have two options. Hit the accelerator pedal and when you let off it, it will resume to your preset speed. Or, press the set button in, and it will accelerate or tap it at regular intervals. It will resume at the set speed.
