How do i get the code for my volkswagen golf mk4 stereo.





I have removed my cd ctereo and tape player from my golf mk4, i want to give it to a mate to put into his but it wont work without the code which ive never had. how do i get the code for it. Woudl rather not have to bring it to a dealer because the nearest one is more that two hours drive away. is there anywhere on the net i can get the code?|||In your owner's manual on a sticker, or on another sticker in the spare tire area.||||f the radio code card is not in your handbooks. Some dealers keep radio codes on their in house computer systems. Check who the supplying dealers was from new. The dealers stamp should be in the service book on the pre delivery inspection page. Give them a call and if they have the number on the computer they will probably accept a fax copy of your log book to confirm you own the vehicle.|||the person u purchased it from will have the code.


have you checked in the books n things that come with it?|||Just go to your nearest Vdub dealer and take your log book with you. They'll have it on computer
